The Rooster’s Den is a delightful 6 bedroom / 3 bathroom chalet that sleeps up to 18 guests. It is located in a private country setting just 10 minutes from downtown Ellicottville.
It offers a private outdoor hot tub and fire pit available all year round along with central AC, heating, and high speed internet and WIFI.
Lots of fun can be enjoyed in the games area with pool table and Pacman arcade.

Relax by the fire in the serene environment of this rustic country home located on five acres of private wooded land and boasting breath-taking views of the rolling hills of Cattaraugus County. With over 2,700 square feet of living space, The Rooster’s Den is perfectly located just seven miles from the centre of Ellicottville and the slopes of Holiday Valley and Holimont.
Built in 2007, the chalet has five large bedrooms plus a loft. The large, two-story Great Room with its wall of windows and open concept floor plan leads into the kitchen/dining area with seating for up to 16 guests. It has three full bathrooms. The outdoor deck is an entertainer’s dream with over 800 square feet of added space overlooking the teardrop-shaped pond. Enjoy the bright walkout basement that is complete with a pool table, large flat screen TV, built-in bar with beer fridge, and games nook. At the end of your busy day, have a soak in the covered outdoor hot tub and enjoy the view!
The Roosters Den can be enjoyed all year round. The area is famous for its winter activities including skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, tubing and snowmobiling. In summer there is golf, tennis, hiking, and challenging mountain biking in the immediate area. The Holiday Valley resort has recently added a new Sky High Adventure Park and outdoor pools with a water slide.

Awesome house
“It was perfect for our group… 13 of us. Some of us enjoyed the main floor playing games at the table. Some hung out in the basement playing pool, Pac-Man, and the piano. And some enjoyed the hot tub! Truly a great place ..very clean, roomy, and comfortable!”

Great place!
“This place was even nicer than expected! There was a crib, booster seat and step stool which was very helpful with my small children. There was plenty of space for my family of 19 and the kitchen was stocked to accommodate our early family thanksgiving celebration. Had a fuse blow and the host responded quickly and solved our problem. Everything was great. The family had a blast!”

Girls trip 2023
“We stayed here for our annual girls trip. There were 14 of us and we had plenty of room for everyone. The hot water never ran out! The kitchen is well stocked with dinnerware, pots and pans, and basic grocery supplies. The view from the deck was so pretty with the changing leaves and the fire pit is awesome, with plenty of wood provided. Lots of things to do and see in the area, from zip lines to wine tastings, and plenty of restaurants to enjoy in the nearby town. I would definitely recommend this house to others.”

Great winter getaway
“We had 3 families sharing the house with kids ranging in ages from 9 to 15. There was plenty of room, lots to do. The kitchen had all the space and things we needed to cook meals. The lower lever was a great space to hang out after skiing all day. We would definitely return.”

“It was a great property and my group and I had a lot of fun. Wood, propane was provided which was a very nice touch and one less thing for us to pack! Everyone enjoyed sitting around the fire and in the morning around the island having breakfast. Overall our stay was very enjoyable.”
