Sugar Pine Lodge features 6 spacious bedroom suites that will accommodate up to 21 guests.
The Lodge is a 10 minute walk from the heart of downtown Ellicottville and a 1 minute drive to Holiday Valley Ski and Golf Resort.
The private outdoor hot tub operates all year round.
The private outdoor heated swimming pool is typically open from mid-May to mid-September. Enjoy a fully stocked kitchen, and games room with ping pong, darts and air hockey.

As of August 2022 all rentals will now include the extra Efficiency Suite at the front of the house for 6 bedroom suites total. Our beautifully decorated Queen suites feature a sitting room and bedroom, Jacuzzi tubs, fireplaces, air conditioning and state of the art amenities, providing you with the relaxing comfort you deserve. Private entrances to each suite from the outside allow guests to come and go at any time. The kitchen is a cook’s dream, featuring a six-burner gas range, salamander broiler, wide central island, two sinks, two dishwashers, and all the necessary items for preparing wonderful meals. Outside you will find our heated swimming pool, hot tub, fire pit, horseshoe pit and gazebo.
For ski lovers, a stay at Sugar Pine Lodge is the perfect complement to enjoying the nearby hills of Holiday Valley. Just minutes from the lodge, Holiday Valley – “the Aspen of the East” – offers day and night skiing. And when the seasons change, stay with us while you golf at Holiday Valley’s highly regarded course. Mountain biking, trail walking and the Sky High Adventure Park also beckon when the sun shines in the warmer months.

Suite 1
Entering the second floor by the exterior stairway, a glassed hallway offers an expansive view of Holiday Valley’s ski slopes. The private hallway is lined with antiques and flowers, leading directly to your private suite. This English Tudor, two-room suite, is unique with a designer décor. It accommodates up to four when using the pull out couch.
Suite 2
Decorated in a French Country style, this charming two-room suite features hand-painted furniture, thick oriental rugs over polished hardwood floors and unique faux-painted walls. Ivory colors accentuate the burnished wood trim, set off by tiled ceiling. It accommodates up to four when using the pull out couch.
Suite 3

Suite 5 – Main Floor Bunkie Suite
The only bedroom located on the first floor, this suite has gorgeous windows and is located right off the main living area. It has two bunk beds (one pyramid style single on double, one regular style) which allows room to accommodate five guests.
Suite 6 – Efficiency Suite
This two-room, luxury suite with its own private entrance located around the front of the house is reminiscent of the Gatsby Era. From its embossed ceiling to its beautiful hardwood cherry floor, the suite is both elegant and inviting.
Accommodating up to four, the Efficiency features a main bedroom with queen bed and TV, living room/sitting area and a pull-out couch, It also features a gas fireplace, AC, a bathroom with Jacuzzi tub, TV and a kitchenette complete with microwave, small fridge, and toaster oven. This suite is ideal for a couple wanting a bit of extra privacy from the main lodge. This suite is on the main level but there are 3 steps up to access the suite.

Cozy and Different
“The place was pretty neat. Had an old time feel to it but was great. It was nice having the industrial range in the kitchen to cook on. Especially with 15 people to feed. Was pretty cool having all the rooms with mini suits in them. Just an opinion but i think a mini fridge in each would be perfect. But all in all. Great stay.”

Great multi family reunion/vacation
“Our family of five siblings and spouses with each of their own families stayed together in this home. The Commons spaces were large enough for us all to be together while we were also all able to retreat to our own spaces for the evenings to sleep. The location was within walking distance of downtown. Which was awesome due to the local food festival we happened upon. The hot tub was excellent and the pool was fantastic. We didn’t realize the pool had a heater and next time would definitely utilize that! The kitchen was well appointed with everything you could need. Grocery and liquor store nearby. Those of us that were hikers and runners enjoyed the proximity to the mountain. We would definitely recommend it!”

Perfect for a group
“Our small group really enjoyed our stay at Sugar Pine Lodge. It’s a truly unique home with ample space to stretch out and relax. The hot tub and game room were both favorites of our group. The home was very clean with lots of amenities. The owners were very responsive and flexible with travel plan changes due to COVID. We had a wonderful experience and will likely return again!
